Taya Redfeather – Founder
Taya Redfeather is a proud member of the Oglala Lakota Tribe, born and raised on the windswept plains of South Dakota. Guided by the wisdom of her ancestors and the deep-rooted teachings of her people, she founded Native Heritage Store with a dream — to keep the stories, symbols, and spirit of Indigenous culture alive in every home across the world.
Her journey began with a simple yet powerful belief: that art can heal, teach, and connect.
Each design she creates is inspired by the heartbeat of Native tradition — the songs of the drum, the sacred colors of the land, and the enduring strength of those who came before us.
Through Native Heritage Store, Taya built more than a brand; she created a movement of remembrance and respect.
Every product sold carries a purpose — for every item purchased, $1 is donated to organizations supporting Indigenous rights, cultural preservation, the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) movement, and the Every Child Matters campaign.
Her mission is to empower Native voices, protect sacred heritage, and remind the world that our culture is not history — it is living, breathing, and eternal.
When Taya isn’t designing or collaborating with artists, you’ll find her walking along the rivers she grew up by, sketching the horizon, and whispering prayers of gratitude to Mother Earth.
Her dream is simple — that every person who holds a piece from Native Heritage Store feels the same warmth, pride, and spirit that has guided her people for generations.
