A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER

My name is Taya Redfeather, founder of Native Heritage Store and a proud member of the Oglala Lakota Tribe, born and raised in South Dakota.

I created Native Heritage Store from a belief that art can connect people, carry stories, and encourage greater respect for Indigenous heritage.

What began as a place to share meaningful designs has grown into something larger: a community of customers who appreciate the strength, beauty, identity, and cultural significance connected with Indigenous traditions.

Native Heritage Store is more than a collection of products. It is a platform through which we hope to encourage learning, share meaningful stories with care, and turn customer support into real contributions.

WHY WE GIVE

The stories represented through our products belong to real people, families, and communities.

For that reason, we believe appreciation should be followed by action.

Native Heritage Store contributes to organizations and initiatives supporting Indigenous children, women, Survivors, families, cultural identity, education, safety, healing, and community well-being.

Giving is not an occasional promotion for us. It is built into the way our store operates.

OUR $1-PER-ORDER COMMITMENT

For every completed order placed with Native Heritage Store, we set aside $1 for donation.

This commitment is based on the number of completed orders—not on how much profit the store earns.

Whether an order generates a profit, breaks even, or results in a loss, Native Heritage Store still contributes the promised $1.

The donation comes from the store and does not add an extra donation fee to the customer’s order. One completed order means one dollar set aside for giving—regardless of profit.

For transparency, “completed order” refers to an order that has been successfully paid and has not been canceled or fully refunded.
