The material is not thick, so it can be used for layering clothes underneath, or even just over a shirt for spring and fall weather. The graphics are very much like the one pictured, and are not just "printed" on the material. It won't wash or peel off. It is machine washable (cold water, and I used the gentle cycle), but must be hung to dry. It dried within 12 hours after the first wash. Overall, a very nice product for the price.
